Australian Technology Centre, 16th and 17th October 2012

A Major ARTSA activity is the annual ATA / ARTSA Technical & Maintenance Conference, held at the Australian Technology Centre in Sydney during October. The Conference is jointly coordinated by ARTSA and the Australian Trucking Association, representing a close working relationship within the Australian Transport Industry of both operators and suppliers.

The program covers four major themes of safety, productivity, environment and operating costs.

Many hundreds of delegates attend the annual conference, which covers technical topics as diverse as specifiying prime movers to discussing forthcoming low sulphur diesel fuel and its implications on truck maintenance and emissions.

The annual conference incorporates an Annual Awards Dinner, where the Craig Roseneder National Award for Technical and Maintenance Excellence in the Workshop by an Individual in the Trucking Industry is the feature. This National Award for Workshop Excellence is the industry's way of honouring "the best of the best" from the workshop.
